The least impressive part of weighing up living in Japan is the pay. You always have to have a Plan B in Japan. Companies do not communicate well with western employees. Everything is layered and it’s hard to understand what they really want from you. They won’t say anything to you, you’re supposed to know everything. They think nothing of dumping you as an employee. You are extremely replaceable. I’m wondering if they’ve raised the pay with the change in the exchange rate? I worked for a language school that scammed employees. They required that you lived in their housing which they were making a profit off renting to you. They would rent a place for 18,000 a month and then charge you 40,000 a month for it. They were awful people. I’m surprised they survived. They are in Kofu. I got lucky and found a job working for an American company. I got respected, treated like a human, and decent pay raises. If you’re the English monkey, they’re looking to replace you. Nothing is permanent, be used to being disrespected on a regular basis

It’s not a trap! For one, you’re probably an ALT and not an actual teacher, do you have your teaching license?then your not a teacher. Also do you have a masters so you can teach at a university?

To be honest, any legal/real company can also be a “scalper”. Taking advantage of the market demand is how the whole world works, so if you can buy low and sell high with success - you have a good business. I presume that everybody wants to do that, nobody’s here to export cars just because he wants to help the car community drive their dream cars in the US. So the only valid point here is that you shouldn’t buy from shady characters, but saying stuff like “real legit companies don’t care about making big money on each car but rather on the quantity and will not jack up prices” is a very naive view on life

Maybe living in japan so long you're tired of it is the point. If the desire to live in japan is still there, then you'll always want to go back. Better to get over japan and content to never live there again than always want to live there but don't.

Thanks to your Video and advice I signed up to Be Forward, but once I realized the deals were not that great after all AND that you are part of Be Forward and therefore have a vested interest I unsubscribed. Sadly Be Forward Bombard my inbox with spam at a rate of apprx 400 unsolicited e-mails per month EVEN after I unsubscribed which to me suggests Be forward are the scammers given that normal companies tend to remove you from their mailing list when you ask them to whereas Scammer don't.

Be careful because fishing tackle can be very expensive and you can spiral out of control very quickly. But having all the top shelf items can make the experience all the more enjoyable 💯

I'm down for the fishing Sam. Love to see it. To add to the tip from the shop. Fish eat at different parts of the water columns depending on the time of day. Try waiting the retrieve bait. Or fish shallow and retrieve early. Also, try not to whip a light lure. You want to let the rod load up from the weight of the lure. Usually the rod will print the recommended lure weight on it to tell you your in the sweet spot for casting far. Trout fishing rods are usually fished with ultra light or light rods. Look like your first bait/lure was on the ultra light side. Other than that, keep fishing. It's all luck.

For trout, according to my uncle, you want really light line, and either a really small feathered fly, a little silver spoon lure worked really slow, like twitch it a few inches at a time, or, mush up little balls of cheap Wonderbread or other white bread, hanging under a little bobber or piece of cork. (if you use worms, *little ones.* ) If they're like American trout they won't hit on anything really ripping.

Sam you gotta do this again i thoroughly enjoyed this! Also when you get a bit dont go over board but set the hook much heavier next time and work the lure, make it seems life. like that will give you higher chances in catching one! Love and peace🙌
